Dang it, B.B, how am I supposed to write a review on this book without swearing?! The girl with the shaved head and "don't give a darn attitude" warrants some love of the beautiful 4 letter flowery kind. Well, I'll save it...How do you do it? Consistently with each book I fall in love with each of the men, no matter how douchey or how much of an prick they are. They just fit. Knight will always hold a special dark place in my heart, but I knew Ken was going to have the light part of my heart. The part looking for good and permanence. He may be a #husbot, but this book shows he knew exactly what he was doing, no matter how awkward and silently he was doing it.Now, let me preface that this is book 4 in a series. Could this be read as a standalone? Sure. But honestly why would you? I don't think you could understand the side characters as much or the journey BB took to get to her HEA. It was always filled with ups and downs and a plethora of fun and shady characters. So, start with Knight or start where this whole journey started, 44 Chapters about 4 Men. You won't regret it.Suit starts off with the best introduction..."Good luck with that, I'm boring as sh......" Seriously, that is what Ken says about a book about him. And sure, this book isn't filled with as much 'sex, drugs, and rock n roll', but it's THEIR story and it's sweet and slow and perfect. It has us getting in Ken's head and has us laughing and frustrated along with BB. It's not like the previous books, but it is filled with humor and had me cheering for #teambb the whole dang way."In my experience, boys were opportunistic a....holes. Even the sweet ones. Give them an inch, and they'd take your hymen."The journey for BB has been a crazy ride. She deserves her HEA and a man that can put up with her brand of crazy. She needs the mellow to her crazy. A balance. And what a ride she has taken us on to show us how she got it. The quiet, gatorade drinking guy on the couch that doesn't let anyone close might just grow into the guy she needs. He may even be the guy that makes a reader (ahem, me) shed a few tears while riding a treadmill at the gym with 9 simple words. The man doesn't talk, but he is about action. So, watch what he does, don't listen. Because that's what this guy is about."Ken was no boy. He wasn't even a man. He was a rare subspecies, commonly referred to as a gentleman, that I didn't even know still existed."Laugh, cry, become frustrated, and laugh some more. Join the journey. What an amazing ending to Ken and BB's HEA. The characters are well written and make you want to be a part of their story. It's fictional reality, but I have definitely felt like I've been a part of these peoples lives by reading these words. The ups and downs and everything in between. I've taken the trip along with these characters and I kind of don't want it to be over. That's when you know you've hit the jackpot of series. I'm sad it's over, but happy to see where this adventure brought us.5 beautifully different stars #teamken #teambb
