This book is so fresh, entertaining and thought provoking!BB is so likable, she’s so unique and a real paradox. It’s a memoir that’s been partially fictionalized, I enjoyed that aspect so much. It’s like nothing I’ve ever read before. I was completely engrossed in this psychological battle that’s also a really interesting and fun trip down the author’s memory lane. Her rebellious nature and irreverent heart spoke to mine.I loved the stories of the bad boys, both the good and bad are told.I loved her openness and honesty of her own flaws and mistakes. And Ken… what can I say? He got the girl against the odds. On the surface it doesn’t make sense, but I think it probably is a great real life match. It made me feel all those youthful feelings again, it made me laugh and it was deeply emotional. It’s also a wake up call of sorts. BB went through all these secret tactics to revive her relationship, there’s a lesson in there. I think she’s quick to point out the obvious, we don’t need to go to crazy lengths to open conversations up with our partner. Communication is important and she made me realize I wasn’t the only one who got complacent and unhappy. It’s not as unusual as we think. It’s a gift that she gives the reader in my opinion. You aren’t alone in those feelings! And there’s the pure enjoyment of getting a glimpse at her wild and rebellious past, what she experienced and what made her who she is. It’s fun and clever.Such an exciting book and I think it’s one of a kind.A must read!
