These pants fit a shred right in my opinion, I wear a size larger than I would be normally. They are not the most warm or water proof pant, great for spring season but may not be enough for you on a single digit temperature day. Very durable, and became my most worn snow pant.Excelente pantalon. Parece un jeanI purchased a Medium and they fit great with the Velcro adjustable waist strap and I didn't need a belt. I am 5'11" tall, with a 33-34" waist. I have enough room in the waist and seat to be comfortable snowboarding and I wear them with the UA Base layer 4.0 on real cold days. Plenty of mobility, I never felt constrained while riding. I roll around in the snow a bit and these kept me warm and dry. They have a clip on the gaiters to hold them to my boots. Windproof kept me warm on the lifts, and I used the vents when I needed to breathe a little.Good quality, good fit. I am pretty average size 5'10", with a 34" waist, 30" inseam, and about 190 lbs. Fit for a large was snug around the waist but not too tight and the length was just about perfect where they were slightly baggy around my boot but not so baggy that they look weird, probably about 2-3 inches inches to spare on the length. The fit seems to be the hot-button issue on these. I am a consistent 32 waist size so let me tell you that the mediums (32-34) will be EXACTLY that size. They will fit like normal pants will. This may be great for some and not so great for others. Remember, these are only a shell pant, there is new thick fleece lining like some pants. So if you are someone who wants to be extremely warm and wear a pair of pants underneath your shell GO A SIZE UP. I'm not kidding, there's a strap on the inside of the waist band that will tighten more than enough if you feel like you have too much room after the size up. For me, I'm comfortable enough wearing long underwear under a shell and calling it a day, so the Mediums fit exactly as expected.TL;DR - Size up if you want to wear warm clothes underneat, exact size if you're comfortable with the shell and underwear. As far as the pants themselves, I haven't been able to test them that much yet, but I do appreciate the double latching system on almost all the pockets. There is a latch (button or velcro) on the outside, and then velcro on the inside of the pockets as well. NOTHING should fall out of your pockets EVER. The top side pockets, where you normally put your hands, are zippered but are the exception to the two latch system. This is understandable though for ease of access. The key/lift ticket/whatever strap on the inside of the left pocket is an excellent touch.Favorite part though? The ball cooling system.... No joke, there's a patented "Test-I-Cool" zipper on the crotch that opens the area up to about an inch wide of breathable mesh. Test-I-Cool... I can't make this up, good job, Burton xDWorn them twice for spring skiing/snowboarding and so far so good, I’ll see how they hold up in colder conditions next season.Love Burton's style and true to the size. This is my second of these pants. The old one lasted more than 3 years until the butt pockets were no longer waterproof. My waist is 32, size small fits as the size chart recommended from Burton. However, there is one fault on these pants is that the butt pockets won't waterproof if you fall and get the snow stuck between the butt pocket flap, or sit down many times during the day. Your butt is getting wet when sitting down on the chairlift because of the melted snow. Totally worn less than 10 hours for 3 days, and it already got through to the base layer leaving a cold butt all day long. I would not recommend these if you are planning to sit on the snow a lot.Gave it 5 stars but I had to send back. I always take a medium. These were sooo baggy and long. Had to send back.I like these pants but the Amazon description is wrong. That is the reason for the low rating. The fabric rating is 10,000MM/5,000G, not 10,000MM/10,000G as shown. The pockets and design shown in some pictures are also wrong. For an accurate description of the product, see the Burton website for the Winter 2019 version of these pants.Burton is a good brand usually to go with for snow sport gear. The pants are good enough. My main problem is overheating (moguls on snowboard makes for a good workout), so I was looking for something with great ventilation, and not too much insulation. The inner thigh zipper works well.My only gripe is that these pants are a very "relaxed" or boot-cut fit. Normally I go with regular straight or slim fits, and couldn't tell from the product page that this was not a regular cut. It would be a bigger problem, but I got these pants for a decent price, so I am mostly happy.I always underestimate my size. I am at about a 35" waist right now, maybe 36" and large is a bit snug. I just ordered another in xl. This will give me some breathing room until I get less fat.I'm happy with the pants, they are legit! I'm just a bit fat right now.Haven’t used them yet, as it’s not the season, but they fit well’ are comfortable, and I was very warm upon trying them on - it was 24° C that day.I like them. They do the job. Not warm at all, but it was expected.
